Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and the rental of any vehicle from Diamond Sky Rent A Car L.L.C ("Lessor", "we", "us") by you ("Renter"). They summarize the same terms set out in the Standard Terms & Conditions of Rental agreement you sign in person when collecting a vehicle. If anything here conflicts with your signed rental agreement, the signed agreement governs your specific rental.

The vehicle is delivered to you in good overall condition and without apparent defects. Any complaints about its condition must be raised immediately upon inspection. You agree to return the vehicle with all documents and accessories, in the same condition, to the agreed location and by the agreed date and time. We reserve the right to repossess the vehicle without notice if it is used in violation of this agreement.

You are responsible for loss of, or damage to, the vehicle or any of its parts — including glass, tires, and interior — regardless of fault, except where the damage is caused by us. This includes the cost of repair or replacement, compensation for decline in value, and loss of rental income while the vehicle is unavailable. A Loss Damage Waiver (see below) can reduce this liability if accepted at the time of booking.

You agree to pay the charges shown on your rental agreement, or according to our current published rates, including the security deposit, rental fee, and any applicable extras.

Daily rentals are limited to 300 km per day, weekly rentals to 200 km per day, and monthly rentals to 5,000 km per month. Charges apply for mileage in excess of these limits, at the rate shown on your rental agreement.

We are only liable for loss or damage suffered by you or third parties where that loss or damage was caused intentionally or through our gross negligence. In all other cases, we cannot accept liability, and you agree to hold us harmless against such claims.

You agree not to use the vehicle to:

• carry persons or property for hire or reward;
• tow or propel any other vehicle, trailer, or object;
• take part in a race, test, rally, or contest;
• drive while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance impairing your ability to drive;
• break any customs, traffic, or other applicable regulations; or
• be driven by anyone other than a driver we've authorized on the rental agreement.

Drivers must be at least 23 years old, and UAE residents must have held a valid license for at least one year.

We provide insurance coverage for the vehicle while it is used with our permission and in accordance with the applicable motor liability insurance policy. If you or an authorized driver are found responsible for an accident, you are liable for the insurance excess amount stated on your rental agreement.

In the event of any accident, injury, or theft involving the vehicle, you must contact the police and obtain a police report, and notify us immediately. No repairs may be carried out without our prior approval. Failure to obtain a police report, or breach of these conditions, may result in you being held fully liable for the resulting damage.

If you accept the Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) at booking, your liability for accidental damage is limited to the excess amount shown on your rental agreement, provided the damage was not caused by gross negligence or a breach of these terms. Personal Accident Coverage (PAC) is available as an optional add-on at the rates shown on your rental agreement.

• 7 days or more before pickup: 100% refund.
• 3–7 days before pickup: 50% refund.
• 1–3 days before pickup: 75% of the rental price is charged.
• Less than 24 hours before pickup: 100% of the rental price is charged.

Driving over 160 km/h incurs a fine of AED 2,000; driving over 200 km/h incurs an additional fine of AED 5,000 — in both cases in addition to any RTA fines and damage costs.

The vehicle is for use within the UAE only. Taking it to a neighboring or GCC country without our prior written permission is prohibited, voids all insurance coverage, and makes you fully liable for any resulting loss.

The vehicle must not be used to tow or push any other vehicle or object.

The vehicle must be returned clean, in the condition it was received. Excessive dirt or soiling will incur a cleaning charge. Salik and Darb toll charges are payable by you at the actual rate charged by the relevant authority, including VAT, plus an applicable administrative fee per transaction.

The personal data you provide in connection with your rental agreement is processed as described in our Privacy Policy, including, where necessary, sharing it with relevant authorities for credit protection or legal compliance purposes.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. You and Diamond Sky irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai. Where this Agreement is provided in both English and Arabic, and there is a conflict between the two, the Arabic version of your signed rental agreement shall prevail to the extent permitted by law.

These Terms sit alongside the rental agreement you sign at handover. That signed agreement, together with its vehicle condition report, records the specific car, dates, rate and deposit for your booking. You can review a copy of our standard rental agreement before you book.
